First of Many...

I met an Egyptian Alchemist who taught me important things in life. God knew I needed someone to remind me of these things and so fate led me to him. He may not be around for good but as we all know, people come and go in our lives and we just need to make every moment spent with them all worthwhile.

Lesson #1:  Ultimately, you will always find yourself alone.  So don't go expecting friends to help you get through the tough times.  If they do, then that's a bonus for you.  In life, you have to teach other people to treat you right (including friends).  If they're not good to you, there's no reason to hold on to them anymore.  That's something I've learned pretty much late in life.  I have no regrets, only good thoughts and well-meaning wishes that we all find our true happiness in this lifetime.

Lesson #2:  Take up a business and start now.  However small it is, it will keep the ball rolling. You may end up failing at first, but at least you've tried it out early in the game and all you need then is to make the necessary changes in the plan.

Lesson #3:  Life is a game.  You go hunting, you go losing, and you go winning.  It's a cycle.  Since you know it's a game then you have to play smart and play with all your heart while guarding it too.  That way, you have no regrets, only happy thoughts.

Lesson #4:  It's either you marry me or you play with me.  Sabi nga nila, ang bumigay talo. My personal mantra - play if you must, but again go back to Lesson #3.

And lastly, Lesson #5:  Pray, pray, pray. I couldn't thank him enough for reminding me that the most fundamental thing in life is to worship God. Ultimately, our purpose in life is to glorify Him. Thus, I've come to love SJ's motto: Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam -- all for the greater glory of God. Enough said, no further explanation needed.

I know I am bound for greatness, just like every person in this world. Pursue your Personal Legend in life, your Dream, your Destiny.

I am still a work in progress, just like this blog.  I have yet to explore a lot of things in life which I am excited to share with you in the future. Little steps... this is just the first of many.
